Doctor recommended and best lidocaine application method
My neurosurgeon recommended this product for severe neck pain. I use it a night before I go to bed and it helps me to fall asleep easier by taking the edge of the pain. Works better than the patches and you can put it exactly wear you need it without using the sticky messy patches that move around. You just need to allow a couple of minutes for it to dry after application. Highly recommend. Amazon has a much better price than Walgreens and other stores.

Ack and pain
Ice hot works if you roll it on up to 4 hours. I like the cream one better. You can rub it into your skin an it last longer then 5 hours. No smell.

Beware there is no Heat
Please not this is not like the original Icy Hot. If you are expecting to feel any type of heat or burning sensation when applying this you will be disappointed. This has no smell and there is no heat. This is only lidocaine. Lidocaine does not give off heat or smell. I've used it on my arm and back and have been pretty happy with results but you don't need to over apply it because you think its not working due to the lack of heat or smell. If you want heat then you need to stick with the original Icy Hot.

Ice Hot Lidocaine Roll-On.
This is a good product but I had a difficult time opening the cap. I watched a U tube video and it showed me what I was not doing.

I recommend it, maybe it just didn’t work for me.
I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately it didn’t help me much. The pain was still there even after applying it. It gives a slight cooling feeling, but the relief was very minimal. The effect didn’t last long at all. It was easy to use, but it did not remove my pain. Maybe it works for others, but it wasn’t effective for me. I’m a bit disappointed with the results.

Better than injections!
I have bursitis in my hips. I've had injections from a pain spen; I got less relief from them than from Icy Hot lidocaine ointment. The roll on is so convenient and I don't get it on my hands!
