ESR Paper-Feel Magnetic Screen Protector for iPad Pro 11 Inch (M5/M4) 2025/2024, Write and Draw Like on Paper, Detachable and Reusable, Compatible with Tempered Film, Matte Finish

Works really well and writing surface feels more like paper than more expensive options like paper like. I’m using an ESR tempered glass screen protector, and I have no problems with the magnets sticking to the iPad. Does wonders for my handwriting while taking notes as a stem student, and the best part is if I just want to watch something on my iPad it comes right off.

This is definitely the one to buy! I tried another that was on sale, a more traditional kind that stays on permanently, and it was terrible. It came with two and BOTH had major bubble and streak issues. But this isn’t about the other one. This ESR type is perfect. The feel is fantastic, it is barely noticeable, and all of the Pencil Pro tips I’ve tried work great on this screen. I haven’t tried to take it off and reapply (I don’t plan to, really), and I’ve only used it a few times so far, so TBD on long-term. Yes it’s more expensive, but it’s very worth it!

I like the matte finish and the feel when writing. It adds just enough resistance that it feels more like paper than glass, and it gives me better pen control, or at least it feels that way during note taking. I use this on top of a glass screen protector, and that does introduce some tradeoffs. There is a slight loss of precision where the pen does not land exactly where I expect. It is close enough for general notes, but if you are doing precision drawing, stacking it over glass is probably not ideal. Adhesion is mixed. It attaches magnetically and with some tackiness, but I do have issues with it peeling off occasionally, which again may be due to the glass protector underneath. When it is installed, swiping up from the bottom can be frustrating and often takes multiple attempts. I mainly use this during flights. The matte finish dramatically reduces glare, which makes watching movies much more enjoyable on a plane. Day to day, I only put it on for heavier note taking sessions. It comes with a very nice plastic cover and sleeve, which I appreciate, but I still feel the need to thoroughly clean my screen and both sides of the protector every time I use it. I am not sure I would automatically replace it, but I might, simply because I value the matte finish so much in high glare situations. Maybe not the best solution when used over a glass screen protector. P.S. - It is worth noting that, after I posted this review, the seller reached out and offered me a full refund. While I am not delighted with the product, I am satisfied, and I declined the offer. You should take heart in knowing ESR stands fully behind its products. Because of that level of service, I bumped my review from a 3-star to a 4-star review. Great customer service is worth a star.

It doesnt cement to glass surface, it sits on it. And it feels like paper when you write.

I want to like this, and the feel of the texture is smooth for the Apple Pencil Pro. But the black stripes at the top and bottom... for starters they're not magnetic. They're slightly adhesive. Also, those black stripes are slightly raised, so when "swiping up" to unlock the iPad, you feel them and it actually detracts from the otherwise smooth stroke on the screen with a finger. I'm going to keep using it for now, but this is not something I'd run out and recommend if details matter to you. Lastly, I'm not sure why this has the word "UP" in the top-right. There's clearly a notch cut-out making the top pretty easy to see; the word is a permanent distraction.

Love it so much that I let my daughter try it and we ended up getting the iPad Air size for her since she is really into sketching on her iPad. I wanted it for my iPad Pro so that I could take notes for work, I tend to carry around notebooks and fill them up quickly. I looked into tablets that supported writing such as the scribe and kobo but putting this screen on my iPad really makes a huge difference on how it feels with the pen. I can now handwrite notes and draw and it's a nice experience compared to on the regular glass screen.

This screen protector is pretty great! I was a bit wary of the touch sensitivity and usage with a tempered glass screen protector underneath, but using it with an Apple Pencil Pro is great sensitivity wise with writing! I take it out of the carrying folder and briefly wipe my screen before putting it on, and I haven’t seen any bubbles or issues with things getting caught under it yet! The alignment could be better, as the little sticky strips on it make alignment take a few tries to get it on perfectly; but overall the installation is easy. I’ve written on it for a few days now and it seems like it has long term durability and is well made, and I’m really happy with it overall!!

I’m normally a huge fan of ESR stuff but this just isn’t it. I write a little harder than most but when you do that with this it makes the screen feel rubbery. Does not even come close to giving you a paper feel unless you’re applying very very light pressure. The other issue I have with it is that it severely degrades the picture quality. I expected some but not this much. It’s almost like looking at a screen from 15 years ago. But honestly worse. Not really worth it in my opinion unless you write super softly but then you’re also just getting a horrible picture from your $1000 tablet. Which I’m assuming is a big reason why people bought it in the first place. Nice to see it being able to go over existing screen protectors though.

Ótima película, super prática, usa quando quiser, depois so é guardar. Textura imita papel. Recomendo.

Muy fácil de instalar y sirve bien aunque tenga ya un protector de pantalla de cristal templado (es de la misma marca) y para dibujar ayuda mucho ya que se puede dibujar más fluido y suave y la piel no se atora con la pantalla

Het materiaal voelt echt heel fijn en je kan hierdoor heel goed tekenen en schrijven op je iPad. Ik heb en iPad Pro 11 inch M5. Enige nadeel die ik best vervelend vind en ook de reden van 3 sterren is dat de onderkant te dik is waardoor je lastig apps kan weg swipen. Is er iemand anders die een oplossing hiervoor heeft. Onderste boven met de cam an de onder kant heb je dit probleem niet omdat er een kantloze plek is voor je cam die je kan gebruiken om apps weg te swipen.

Konnte gut und blasenfrei angebracht werden. Hält bis heute und zeigt keine Kratzer. Fingerabdrücke lassen sich gut abwischen - und stören mich weniger als auf der original Displayoberfläche, aber das ist vielleicht ein subjektiver Eindruck. Nur wer weniger Spiegelungen im Freien haben möchte, muss sich eine matte Folie suchen. Diese Folie gibt dafür Farben so brilliant wieder wie möglich. Bei der Bedienung gibt es keinerlei Beeinträchtigungen mit Fingern oder dem Stift.

Ürünün kurulumu çok rahat. Tavsiye ediyorum.
